Georgia college & university students
Join the Atlanta Photography Group (APG) for Honor Roll 2021, a juried group exhibition supporting the work of student photographic artists attending Georgia’s colleges & universities. This exhibition was juried by Alyssa Coppelman, a photo editor and photobook consultant, and Art Researcher with Harper’s Magazine and the Oxford American, Samuel Gerace – Curator of Photography at the Booth Western Art Museum, and Rebecca Morgan, gallery director of Arnika Dawkins Gallery. Seven students will feature a body of work with 4-10 images, and 7 additional students will feature a smaller collection of images. The students were nominated by their faculty and selected from more than 35 entries.
The exhibition is free and open to the public! Registration for online event required.

Jurors
Alyssa Coppelman
Alyssa Coppelman is a photo editor and photobook consultant, and Art Researcher with Harper’s Magazine and the Oxford American. She is also the archival researcher for PBS NewsHour’s Emmy-nominated series, Brief But Spectacular. She regularly sources images from a wide variety of galleries, museums, and collections worldwide. Working directly with photographers, Alyssa provides oversight in editing, sequencing, design, and editorial aspects of portfolios and photobook projects.
Samuel Gerace III
Dr. Samuel Gerace III is the Curator of Photography at the Booth Western Art Museum. He studied Fine Art at Shorter University, focusing on traditional oil and egg tempera painting along with darkroom techniques and materials. Samuel received his Masters and Ph.D. from the University of Edinburgh in Art History, while he received his second Masters in Celtic Studies from the University of Wales. His research areas include: medieval art, historical photography, alternative photography processes, and the power of art to create memories and inspire beliefs.
Rebecca Morgan
Rebecca Morgan is the gallery director of Arnika Dawkins Gallery, a fine art photography gallery located in Southwest Atlanta. Her passion has been invested in the arts for over the past 10 years as she began her career working in the gift shop of the High Museum of Art. After attending Auburn University, she gained experience in all facets of the art industry working administratively for galleries, museums, art fairs, and photographers in Atlanta, New York, and Los Angeles. Rebecca is also the owner of her own photography business focusing on lifestyle images of families, children, and couples. She has her finger on the pulse of the arts community and is a great asset to photographers and artists alike.
