is now accepting submissions for CHOICE 2025!

Our annual Member’s Choice exhibition always kicks off the new year of exhibitions at the Atlanta Photography Group (APG). This curated exhibition is open to all current members of APG. This year APG is honored to have Elizabeth Wilson, Fine Arts Manager at The Coca-Cola Company as the guest curator for our CHOICE 2025 Exhibition. Ms. Wilson will choose 1 image from the first 100 members who submit their work. This exhibition has the largest number of individual works compared to any other show that we do throughout the year.  It offers an amazing selection of work from a variety of photographic processes, genres, and styles; and is a great opportunity to have a series of work seen by a prominent, nationally recognized curator. Last year we exhibited 80 images. This year, we will utilize both the Main and Maloof spaces and exhibit 100.

Beth Wilson is an established arts professional with over 25 years’ experience in global corporate and non-profit art environments. As The Coca-Cola Company’s Fine Arts Manager, Beth manages the corporate collection, curates over 2,000 works of art at the headquarters and creates custom exhibitions ensuring their alignment with organizational values and aesthetics. With a background in museum work and international art consulting, she has experience working with both established and emerging artists on custom commissions as well as curating art collections for high-end hotels. Beth’s passion for art and keen eye for talent have made her a respected figure in the art community, driving innovative and culturally rich art experiences.

SUBMISSION INFORMATION

Submited work can be up to 32” on the longest side for the exhibition. (This includes the frame.)

Images which have been shown in either the Main or Maloof Galleries within the last 3 years are not eligible.

CFE Submissions: December 5, 2024 – January 4, 2025
All dates and times are Eastern Time (ET)
All submissions must be made by January 4, 2025, MIDNIGHT

Early Submissions – December 5 – 13, 2024:
2 works: $35, 4 works: $50, 6 works: $60, 8 works: $75

Regular Submissions – December 14 – December 29, 2024:
2 images: $40, 4 images: $60, 6 images: $70, 8 images: $85

Late Submissions – December 30, 2024 – January 4, 2025:
2 images: $50, 4 images: $70, 6 images: $80, 8 images: $95

Student Submissions:
2 images: $30, 4 images: $45, 6 images: $55, 8 images: $70

SCHOLARSHIPS

4 scholarships are available for this call for entry. APG offers need-based Scholarships for all of our exhibitions that will cover the submission entry fee. FILE PREPARATION

  • Export images as .jpg. Resize to 2100 px on the longest side.
  • Rename files to the titles of each work exactly as you wish it to appear (example: My Great Photo.jpg) Your name will be automatically prepended to the file upon upload.
  • Create a text file with your Personal Info (name, email, phone, website/social media), Artist Statement (500 words max), Bio (250 words max), and Image list (in this order: Title, Year piece was created, Print/Image Size (H x W), estimated Framed Size (H x W) Medium (archival pigment print, inkjet print, silver gelatin, cyanotype, etc.), and save this file as a Word doc or PDF.
  • The link to upload your files will be sent to you in your payment confirmation email. You will receive two emails after you pay. One will have the upload link. If you don’t receive two emails, check your spam folder.
  • In order to submit your work you must be a current APG member. Join or Renew Now!

All entries must be completed ONLINE. Do NOT email any image files.

  • Complete Online Registration & Payment
