Atlanta Photography Group is looking for strong, cohesive bodies of work for our most prestigious exhibition: Portfolio. Although there is no theme, images submitted should represent a single project, idea, story, or vision. We will consider still images from all processes, both traditional and digital. This year’s juror, Lisa Sutcliffe, will select one body of work each from 6-8 artists for exhibition in the APG Gallery this January, 2016. All exhibiting artists will be eligible for the 2016 APG/High Museum of Art Purchase Award of $2500, which includes admittance into the High Museum permanent collection.
Juror: Lisa Sutcliffe
Lisa Sutcliffe has been the Curator of Photography for The Milwaukee Art Museum since her appointment in 2012. Prior to that, she served as assistant curator in the Department of Photography at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Before working at SFMoMA, Sutcliffe was the Koch Curatorial Fellow at the deCordova Museum and Sculpture Park in Lincoln, Massachusetts. She holds an MA in the history of art from Boston University, where she specialized in the history of photography, and a BA in art history from Wellesley College.
