APG presents Director’s Cut, a group exhibition of photography that varies in technique and content but shares cinematic sensibilities. There is an old adage in the motion picture industry: Show, don’t tell. The 29 artists in this exhibition clearly have a story to tell but ultimately leave the viewer to imagine and speculate, posing questions rather than revealing answers.

The exhibition runs from August 26th to October 3rd and is an official event of Atlanta Celebrates Photography. The opening reception is Friday, September 25th, 7:30pm. Curator Beth Lilly will give her juror talk at the gallery the following day, Saturday, September 26th, from 2-3pm.
