Kaitlin Booher, PhD, is a photography curator and historian. She is currently the Beaumont and Nancy Newhall Curatorial Fellow at the Museum of Modern Art, where she has worked on a wide range of photography exhibitions and collection installations. Most recently, she assisted on the exhibition Life Dances On: Robert Frank in Dialogue. Booher previously worked at the National Gallery of Art and the Corcoran Gallery of Art, and organized or co-organized exhibitions including Mary Ellen Mark: Ward 81, Alex Prager: Face in the Crowd, and War Games: David Levinthal. She earned her PhD from Rutgers University, where she wrote a dissertation about the history of fashion photography in the United States between 1929­ and 1968.
