The artwork must arrive at the gallery, framed or mounted, with either hanging wire or cleats in order to accommodate our hanging system. Artwork lacking hanging wire or cleat is subject to a $10 fee.
All work should be matted or mounted and framed, in a professional manner – white or black wood or metal frames preferred, unless alternate framing style is integral to piece.
White or off-white mattes only – colored mattes are not appropriate for the gallery setting.
Metal prints are acceptable, with or without framing. Canvas prints are not appropriate for the APG gallery exhibitions.
The gallery cannot accommodate unmounted works – i.e., the gallery does not pin work to the walls.
Glass is acceptable if delivering framed work in person. Plexiglass/acrylic is required on all shipped framed work.
All artworks must have an identifying label on the back that includes the artist’s: name, phone, email, website, address, along with the title of the artwork and the retail price.
APG’s commission is 30% of the selling price on all sales in any APG exhibition that may be in the main gallery or any off-site APG organized exhibition.
APG reserves the right to reject any work that differs from the work submitted or is not exhibition-ready in quality or presentation.
Insurance of the art work is the responsibility of the artist, APG is not responsible for damage or loss in transit or in the gallery. APG will take care of the art work to the best of its ability.
APG maintains a selection of frames available for a nominal rental fee. Frames are available in several sizes, most are standard black or white wood or metal. Frames are available on a first come basis and may be reserved through our Frame Loan Program.
APG reserves complete creative control over the exhibition’s design, including selection, layout, and installation.
Artwork must not be removed from any exhibition before the closing date, for any reason. Artists will be notified when artworks are available to pick up, or when the return shipment is made.
APG reserves the right to disqualify any artwork that does not meet the print or presentation quality standards acceptable for gallery exhibition. Membership & Juried exhibition entry fees are non-refundable.

Applicants warrant that the entry submission is the original work of the artist and, as such, the artist is the sole and exclusive owner and rights holder of the submitted work, and that the party submitting has the right to submit the work for exhibition and grant all required licenses.
Artists maintain copyright on all of their work. By submission, artists grant APG the right to use their images for the purpose of marketing the exhibition and other APG programs; and for reproduction online and in print related to the marketing of the event. Artists grant the use of their image(s) as stated without further contact or compensation from APG. Artist’s recognition is provided with most use.
Your entry constitutes understanding and agreement with the conditions outlined in this prospectus.
Shipped artwork must arrive in reusable containers/boxes with reusable padding.
Frames should be wrapped in bubble wrap, bubble pouches or plastic bags with minimal tape. Plexiglass/acrylic is required in any framed artwork that is shipped to the gallery.
Artist is responsible for costs to deliver or ship art to gallery and for return to artist. Please include a pre-paid return shipping label in the delivery packaging if shipping.
Boxes or crates must be re-usable. Use of packing peanuts is forbidden, use minimal packing tape if wrapping pieces with bubble wrap. Give this some thought – if you tape up the padding like a mummy, then we will have to cut apart your padding to get to the art.
All work must arrive 10 day before the exhibition opening, some exceptions apply. Delivery can be made to the gallery in person during regular gallery hours, Wednesday – Saturday, 12 – 4pm, or ship via any carrier (Gallery is not open on Mondays, please schedule shipments to arrive on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday)

FedEx art boxes are affordable, easy to use, don’t require bubble wrap etc., and no art has ever arrived damaged at APG in one of these boxes
