is now accepting submissions for CHOICE 2025!

Our annual Member’s Choice exhibition always kicks off the new year of exhibitions at the Atlanta Photography Group (APG). This curated exhibition is open to all current members of APG. This year APG is honored to have Madeline Beck, Curator at the Marietta Cobb Museum of Art as the guest curator for our CHOICE 2026 Exhibition. Ms. Beck will choose 1 image from the first 100 members who submit their work. This exhibition has the largest number of individual works compared to any other show that we do throughout the year.  It offers an amazing selection of work from a variety of photographic processes, genres, and styles. Last year we exhibited 90 images. This year, we will utilize both the Main and Maloof spaces and exhibit 100.

Madeline Beck

Marietta Cobb Museum of Art

Madeline Beck is the Curator at the Marietta Cobb Museum of Art (MCMA) in Marietta, Georgia. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Art History, with a minor in Classical Studies, from Kennesaw State University.

Beck began her curatorial career as a Curatorial Assistant at the Zuckerman Museum of Art at Kennesaw State University before joining MCMA in 2015. She was appointed Curator of MCMA in 2017, where she has since curated over 50 exhibitions. In addition to her exhibition work, Beck manages the museum’s permanent collection and oversees special events.

Beyond her work at MCMA, Beck is a facilitator for SeekATL, an Atlanta-based studio-visit group, and serves on the ArtsATL Artist Advisory Council.

SUBMISSION INFORMATION

Submited work can be up to 30” on the longest side for the exhibition. (This includes the frame.)

Images which have been shown in either the Main or Maloof Galleries within the last 3 years are not eligible.

CFE Submissions: January 8 – 30, 2026

All submissions must be made by January 30, 2026, MIDNIGHT

Early Submissions – January 8 – 12, 2026:
2 works: $35, 4 works: $50, 6 works: $60, 8 works: $75

Regular Submissions – January 13 – 26, 2026:
2 images: $40, 4 images: $60, 6 images: $70, 8 images: $85

Late Submissions – January 27-30, 2026:
2 images: $50, 4 images: $70, 6 images: $80, 8 images: $95

Student Submissions:
2 images: $30, 4 images: $45, 6 images: $55, 8 images: $70

SCHOLARSHIPS

4 scholarships are available for this call for entry. APG offers need-based Scholarships for all of our exhibitions that will cover the submission entry fee. FILE PREPARATION

  • Export images as .jpg. Resize to 2100 px on the longest side.
  • Rename files to the titles of each work exactly as you wish it to appear (example: My Great Photo.jpg) Your name will be automatically prepended to the file upon upload.
  • Create a text file with your Personal Info (name, email, phone, website/social media), Artist Statement (500 words max), Bio (250 words max), and Image list (in this order: Title, Year piece was created, Print/Image Size (H x W), estimated Framed Size (H x W) Medium (archival pigment print, inkjet print, silver gelatin, cyanotype, etc.), and save this file as a Word doc or PDF.
  • The link to upload your files will be sent to you in your payment confirmation email. You will receive two emails after you pay. One will have the upload link. If you don’t receive two emails, check your spam folder.
  • In order to submit your work you must be a current APG member. Join or Renew Now!

All entries must be completed ONLINE. Do NOT email any image files.

  • Complete Online Registration & Payment
