An inspiration to many photographic artists, APG is proud to have Elizabeth Turk lead the Critique Group again this April. Turk is a photography professor at the Atlanta campus of the Savannah College of Art and Design. Her work is in the permanent collections of the High Museum of Art, Polaroid Corporate Collection, Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia, Lamar Dodd Art Center, University of West Georgia, and King and Spalding. She has earned many awards and honors including Honoree, Georgia Women in the Visual Arts; Individual Artist grant, Georgia Council for the Arts; Individual Artist grant, Fulton County Arts Council; Individual Artist grant, Atlanta Bureau of Cultural Affairs; Fulton County Arts Council Residency fellowship, and The Hambidge Center.

Critique Group is for APG members only, but we welcome an exploratory visit. Participants are limited to 6 prints, no larger than 16” x 20”-ish. If you’d like to present your work, put your name on the sign-up sheet when you arrive. Critiques are timed so everyone gets equal consideration. No work? No problem, observing is just as valuable.
