When he is not teaching, Taylor works with his own fine art photography.  He specializes in analogue, alternative, and historical processes.  His current work is a mixture of wet plate collodion photographs and mordancage prints.  The series is called Parallel and it discusses the idea of multiverses and multiple representations of ourselves.
