Eyes on Atlanta: Asian Perspectives in Photography
Atlanta is a city rich in diverse culture. In 2022 APG will launch a series of micro-exhibitions focused on the lens-based artists within the varied communities that make up our member base at APG. The lens-based exhibitions will be curated and on view from 7-14 days in our gallery in between our flagship exhibitions.
Originally spearheaded by APG’ s Director of Media and Cultural Outreach , Darnell Wilburn, the Eyes on Atlanta: Windows into our Community initiative continues with the second exhibition in the series curated by Yusheng Liu, and titled Eyes on Atlanta: Asian Perspectives in Photography. The exhibition will run from August 2 – August 15, 2022.

Yusheng Liu is a lens-based artist and curator based in Atlanta, Georgia. He is originally from China, where he received his BFA in photography. He came to the US in 2018 and earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in photography from SCAD where he was awarded an Outstanding Academic Achievement Award. Yusheng has worked in the fashion, editorial and fine art photography arenas. He is currently working for APG as the Artistic / Operations Manager. Following his passion for art, he is going on to study art management and art curation in the Fall of 2023.
