Know Your Value as an Artist

APG is excited to have Rebecca Morgan back teaching her popular workshop, Know Your Value as an Artist: Understanding the Art Market and Leveraging Your Niche. Knowing your value is critical for artistic survival. This means understanding the art market and your niche within that market. This 4-part workshop focuses on tools to help photographic artists define their niche and target audiences; as well as how to use that information to properly edition and price photographs for the fine art market. With over a decade of experience in the commercial gallery world, Rebecca will share insights on market trends, pricing for targeted audiences, gallery structures and various pricing models. Rebecca will also discuss best practices for edition and inventory management. Formerly the Gallery Director for Arnika Dawkins Gallery, Rebecca Morgan is currently Art Project Manager with DAC Art Consulting and will be bringing new insights for promoting and selling your work outside the traditional gallery setting.

Rebecca Morgan is an Art Project Manager with DAC Art Consulting, an art consulting firm located in Midwest Atlanta. Her passion has been invested in the arts for over 10 years, as she began her career working in the gift shop of the High Museum of Art. After attending Auburn University, Rebecca gained experience in all facets of the art industry by working administratively for galleries, museums, art fairs, and photographers in Atlanta, New York, and Los Angeles. Rebecca is also the owner of her own photography business that focuses on lifestyle images of families, children, and couples. As a fine art and lifestyle photographer herself, she is a valuable resource to photographers and artists alike.
